Shelly konvertieren zu shortID Device (longifyid)

Bei Geräten mit älterer Firmware kann es zu Problemen beim erstmaligen hinzufügen / Setup kommen - ein Beispiel sind hier "this device is already owned by another user" Fehler und hängt mit der Länge der Device IDs zusammen.


Das kann wie folgt gelöst werden, am Beispiel einer Shelly Plug-S Steckdose:


Note: Again you have to replace 'deviceip' with the real IP of your device or the command will not work.

1) Make sure the device is connected to a network and has internet access before proceeding.


2) After that, please check if the device is running the latest firmware or make an OTA update with this link, by copying/pasting the link to your browser and replacing 'deviceip' with the device's local IP.

OTA URL: http://deviceip/ota?url=http://firmware.shelly.cloud/gen1/SHPLG-S.zip


3) After the update, please execute this URL: http://deviceip/longifyid. This will factory reset the device.
